Bou Baker will always be my first choice when I need a party or private dinner catered. He prepares every meal with passion. He prepared the food for my rehearsal dinner and wedding. All my guests absolutely raved about their meal. He prepared a deer tenderloin like I have never tasted before and it was moist and tender. My guests could not get enough of it and we ran out early in the evening. My only regret is we do not live close to him any longer or I would hire him over and over. You cannot go wrong with Bou. I will warn you, if you hire him you will not want to use anyone else. He is that good.

A few years ago I was honored by Chef Bou when he cooked a private dinner for my then boyfriend and I in our home. I will remember that meal as if it was yesterday. Not only was the meal amazing, but his presentation as well made for a magical night.

I took culinary classes from Chef Bou for two years in a large group, public school setting. His lessons were always fun, engaging, and well-paced. I never felt like we were doing too much too quickly. His patience in dealing with a room full of high schoolers was always outstanding. I would recommend Chef Bou to anyone who wants to learn more about the culinary arts, whether you are a beginner or an expert!

Chef Bou was might high school culinary arts teacher. He help teach us necessary skills needed to be safe in the kitchen as well prepare us for culinary competitions. Chef Bou is an amazing teacher and I enjoyed every minute in his classes.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Typically, I charge $20/hour + the costs of ingredients. The longer the lesson, the better the value. I want the customer to know I’ll ensure that they are satisfied with their learning experience or they only pay for the costs of the ingredients and my travel expenses.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to talk with the customer and get to know them before getting to work. I am always willing to talk, text or email prior to a meeting or session. I believe in a tailored, personal instructional experience.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I taught culinary arts in a high school setting for over 13 years and also taught ServSafe food safely for 10+ years.
