FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
TRC is focused on serving the client, and that includes how we price our services. We operate on a sliding scale, budget or flat fee discounted basis determined on the client's income. We try to estimate a total fee upfront based on the client's needs and circumstances. Discounts on hourly fees range from 15-30%. Initial intake sessions are free. We use these sessions to determine the clients' circumstances and needs for services.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We meet with one or both parties for a free intake session to better understand their circumstances and their need for services. We define the issues and then discuss our process and how it differs from traditional litigation or other dispute resolution processes. Once we establish a contract for services, we then schedule a series of sessions over a period of weeks or months with our staff to resolve the issues. During the sessions, we provide extensive resources for the clients to help educate themselves on the issues, options, and likely outcomes so that they can appropriately consider how to proceed. At the conclusion of the services we provide a comprehensive written settlement agreement and any other necessary ancillary documents for filing with the Court if appropriate.
