Introduction: A Fresh Perspective Nutrition was established to begin educating individuals how to make effective lifestyle changes from a holistic perspective. With these changes, clients can begin to lead a life filled with optimal health and energy levels that traditional diets tend to leave out. One-on-one nutrition sessions will teach you how to eat to fuel your body, using whole foods, as well as implementing lifestyle habits to help with stress management and poor-sleep quality. Clients may notice positive changes in their health after only a few sessions. Using a holistic perspective acknowledges that a diet is not a one-size-fits-all deal. Each individual has unique needs for optimal health. By using whole foods as nourishment, it becomes easier to listen to messages the body is trying to tell us through various symptoms being experienced, instead of masking them.

Lauren is an amazing motivator and nutrition coach. I've worked with a few different dietitians and Lauren truly does offer a fresh perspective! She is very knowledgable about all things food and has great techniques to get you on the right path, no matter where you're starting from. Eating healthy and cleaning up your diet can be very challenging, but Lauren provides simple to follow steps so you're not overwhelmed. She focuses on the positive, is very thorough, and is an amazing support system. I would recommend Lauren for anyone who is ready to improve their health.

Incredible wealth of knowledge!!! I've learned so much from Lauren. She walks you through every step and makes the transition from processed foods to clean foods an easy one. Loved everything about her program!!!

I consider myself a pretty healthy person overall however, there were some goals I was not able to achieve on my own. Through this process Lauren discovered a group of foods that I am sensitive to if not eaten in moderation which explained my occasional digestive issues. Lauren taught me what to eat to have more sustained energy throughout my busy day and took a closer look at whole foods I can eat if my body is lacking certain vitamins and minerals. I would recommend A Fresh Perspective to anyone who is interested in learning about how our foods can be the best medicine we have, even for someone like myself who is somewhat versed in nutrition.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    After graduating in 2012 from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor of Science, I began to notice how important it was to eat food that would help provide energy and health. As a prospective Physician's Assistant, I changed my career plans to be able to help others with nutritional needs. I graduated with honors from the Holistic Nutrition Consultant Program at Bauman College in Berkeley, California in 2015 and have dedicated my life to educating and helping individuals lead a healthy and natural lifestyle
