Brian performed a dual program for us at the Brainerd Library. The firs act was an all ages magic show that connected well with an audience that ranged from pre-school to post-retirement. His capacity to build interest and connection as a magician with this diverse audience was tremendous and set up a successful second act with the older members of the audience. Brian's capacity in the second act to connect his magician's craft and personal experiences to the broader topic of communication and connection held the audience's attention and generated thoughtful participation. Library patrons resisted leaving at closing because of Brian's warmth and clarity. They requested the library offer similar programs in which presenters connected their craft to their interests, identities, and motivations. Thank you Brian for providing such a successful and community building program. Though I have moved on from Brainerd Library, I will remain in touch for programs in my new library.

Collaborating with Brian is pure magic! The message of connection and being present that Brian shared with our +KIK Peer Mentors and Mentees was powerful and resonated with everyone! Before hiring Mr. Miller, we watched his talk given on the TEDx platform and were impressed by his composure, magic tricks, and his overall content. Immediately, we decided to hire Brian Miller as our Graduate Orientation keynote speaker at the University of New Haven. His management team made the hiring process easy and smooth. Brian tailored his speech to coincide with the overall theme of the day. On Orientation day Brian engaged with the incoming students and presented them with meaningful knowledge that they will not soon forget. Overall, we were very pleased with the process and his keynote. We recommend him as a speaker for any event!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We initiate the process with a phone consultation to get to know each other, and for me to learn about your goals for the event and the breakdown of your expected audience. From there we develop a tailored solution for your needs and, after the rate has been agreed to, sign a simple 2 page contract with a 50% deposit to secure the date. Simple all the way through!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a dual Bachelors of Science in each Mathematics and Philosophy. I graduated college in 2010 with a 3.96 GPA, 11 departmental and campus wide awards for academic achievement, and 2 international awards for original work in philosophy. Since then I have traveled the world as a self-employed magician and motivational speaker. My TEDx talk "How to Magically Connect with Anyone" has been viewed nearly 3 million times worldwide.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I provide youth motivational speaking for leadership conferences, often high school and college aged but occasionally 7-8th grade as well. I also work as a corporate keynote speaker, typically as the kickoff for a conference.
