Introduction: Hi! We teach people to train their dogs to be great family pets on their way to compete in the sports of Dog Agility, Rally or Obedience with the goal of showing in AKC, USDAA & UKI venues. We can be found through Alamo Dog Obedience Club in San Antonio or K9 Country Club in Bulverde. We are AKC/UKI/USDAA agility, rally & obedience exhibitors, trainers & judges. Our goal is to improving the fun, relationship & enjoyment people have with their k9 companions. We do NOT do aggressive dog rehabilitation or service dog training. We do both board & train and home boarding of 1 or 2 dogs by direct request. We look forward to helping you with your dog or puppy. Our methods are positive based using food and toys but if need we use a balanced approach.

Our Cocker was a bit unruly. The people there were so nice and really helped us a lot with Missy. She's still a spastic Cocker :) but much, much more controllable.

Knowledgeable instructors and a nice, safe learning environment for dogs and their owners. It's outdoors so sometimes it's a little warm or chilly, and classes sometimes get postponed for rain. But overall, it's a great class.

My puppy and I love it here! We just completed the Basic Manners class, and it was such a great experience-- we learned a ton, got to socialize with other dogs, and had lots of fun! The instructor was experienced and knowledgeable, and very patient with my unruly puppy. The class was super affordable as well. We will definitely be back for further courses!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge less outside of Thumbtack.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our dogs owners work through a series of science & positive based games that engage the puppy's self control giving the owners a more thoughtful, better behaved, easier to live with, canine. This prepares the dog for future learning in the sports of Agility, Rally or Obedience if desired or just a great all around pet.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken all of Susan Garrett’s seminars and on-line courses (Recallers, Shaping a Difference, Say Yes to Contact Success, Puppy Peaks, Handling 360, Agility Nation) and use these methods in training & teaching. I have also done seminars & on-line courses with Daisy Peel, Linda Mechlenberg, Bobby Lyons, and Hannah Brannigan.
