Introduction: The following is my work experience: - Scaffold Erector Trimm's Scaffolding - Loomis, CA July 2013 to Present * Loaded trucks with materials needed for jobsites by hand and by forklift * Built and tear down scaffolding * Cleaned and maintained yard - Helper/Laborer TJj's Handyman - Roseville, CA January 2010 to July 2013 * Used all varieties of power tools and measured things, from demolition of kitchens, baths, etc., to complete remodeling * Yard maintenance, yard remodeling and from laying sod, planting trees/plants to doing sprinkler systems * Built sheds, barns, lots of house remodeling, plumbing work, gas line work, and sprinkler replacements - Apprentice Iron Worker Action Steel - Sacramento, CA January 2009 to December 2009 * Read specifications or blueprints to determine the locations, quantities, or sizes of materials required * Verify vertical and horizontal alignment of structural steel members, using plumb bobs, laser equipment, transits, or levels * Connect columns, beams, and girders with bolts, following blueprints and instructions from supervisors * Hoist steel beams, girders, and columns into place using cranes or signal-hoisting equipment operators to lift and position structural steel members * Bolt align structural steel members in position for permanent riveting, bolting, or welding into place * Ride on girders or other structural steel members to position them or use a rope to guide them into position * Fabricate metal parts, such as steel frames, columns, beams or girders according to blueprints or instructions from supervisors * Pull, push, or pry structural steel members into approximate positions for bolting into place * Cut, bend, or weld steel pieces using metal shears, torches, or welding equipment * Fasten structural steel members to hoist cables using chains, cables, or ropes - Tire Technician Big O Tires - Susanville, CA January 2005 to March 2009 * Dismounted and mounted tires on rim, balanced tire, checked brakes, shocks, and struts * Placed rim and tire back on vehicle and torqued lug nuts to correct specs * Customer service, answered phones, cleaned and maintained work area My education is as follows: * Iron work at a local 118 iron workers apprenticeship program - Sacramento, CA, 2009 to 2009 * Diploma, Lassen High School - Susanville, CA, 2001 to 2005 As for my skills, I can pretty much do it all and if I can't, I will figure it out.
