FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rate is $65 per hour or $300 for a package of 5 one-hour lessons. Students may study for one hour or one half hour each week. However, each student provides a unique set of goals so timelines and pricing may vary.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
New students schedule a first lesson which provides the student (and, in the case of school-age children and teens, the family) with an opportunity to tell me more about the student's individual goals - from preparing for an audition for a specific school or community theatre show to gaining confidence in their voice, being accepted to their first choice college for music, musical theatre or acting, to the ultimate goal - being on Broadway or working professionally in film and television. The first lesson affords me the opportunity to provide candid feedback and to get to know more about the student's personality so that an individual plan for success can be created.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education and Musical Theatre from Wagner College and a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from Syracuse University. I have built a very successful private studio over 30 years, dedicating my career to working with young singer/actors as well as teens and adults. I offer a comprehensive coaching experience as I provide appropriate songs and monologues and accompaniment tracks for rehearsal and performance, as I am also able to accompany my students.
