About Petaluma's Commercial Kitchen

We rent a beautiful commercial kitchen by the hour in Petaluma with everything you need to produce your product. It's close to the freeway and has ample parking.

We currently have people that produce butter, cookies and pastries. They are a really great group of entrepreneurs as kitchen mates, and we have the cleanest kitchen in town - the health department says so!

Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. A lot of commercial kitchens are not clean. Make sure you check out the cleanliness of the bathroom (i.e. availability of soap and towels) as well as the storage areas, corners of kitchen and equipment. Check with the local county health department to see what their history with the kitchen you are looking at is like.

Another important thing to consider is who you will be sharing this space with. Are the other tenants kind, clean, happy with the management. You may need to share the kitchen with these people and you want to make sure that your time in the kitchen is going to be efficient and productive.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. I would want to know that the rates are competitive, people I rented from are people that value a clean space that is up to code and that the others I share the kitchen with will be flexible and kind to work with. A workplace can be a second home for many. It's an important decision to make.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. What is required to rent the kitchen, what are the rates for use and storage, what is the parking availability. Also for their particular business what permits and regulations need to be acquired and followed.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Our kitchen is one of the cleanest and organized in Sonoma and Marin Counties.

The health department urged us to get a license that that was approved for restaurant status because of how clean our kitchen is.

I was a tenant in a few different kitchens for years until we were able to get into our own. I always felt that cooking out of my own home would have been more sanitary. It feels great to manufacture our high-quality products in a clean space.

Everyone that uses the kitchen is motivated, kind, generous, fun and dedicated. We all support and inspire each other, the energy is great! If you are a small business owner that wants to share a beautiful space contact me and come check it out!
