FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing structure is as follows: $25/lesson (1 hour) for seniors and students with a valid student ID. $35/lesson (1 hour) for adults. Discounts of $5/lesson offered if clients book and pay for at least two lessons at a time. For combined singing and acting lessons, $40 for seniors and students with valid student ID $50 for adults. (Combined lessons meet for a total 90 minutes)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Working with individuals on their voices and presentation skills is a very personal thing and can be intimidating. So the first thing I do is to interview my new client. I conduct a brief interview before the first lesson, and then a more in-depth interview before the first note or word of text is spoken. I ask them to share their goals, and we get to work right away!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My background is Musical Theatre performance and jazz vocal music. I have a terminal Master's Degree (MFA) in Theatre Arts. I also have Level I & II Certifications in Contemporary Commercial Music (CCM). I am also a co-founder of the Bermuda Songwriter's Association, and am a past member of the Los Angeles Songwriter's Showcase. I have taught students at levels ranging from elementary school to senior citizens.I have made a living as a singer/actor/dancer for nearly twenty-five years.
