Introduction: I do home inspections for buyers and sellers. My home inspections come with appliance inspections, home energy reports, and a free book called, "Now that you had a home inspection". I take checks and debit and credit cards. The fees are paid at the time of inspection. The reports come with photos and are e-mailed in PDF format within 24 to 48 hours of inspection.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, as a home inspector i am required to do 24 CE units a year. I usually do more than that.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
A home is one investment you can not afford to purchase without an inspection. It is a huge investment and if anything is found you can always go back to the bargaining table. IE. Asking for the repairs, or deduct the repairs from the price of the home. With all that said a home inspection is very wise of you to do so. Never let anyone talk you out of having a home inspection. Not all Inspectors are created equal some do not go on roofs, I do. Some do not go into crawl spaces, i do. Some do not inspect decks, I do. Some do not inspect attics, I do. Not all take pictures, I take photos of about everything involved in an inspection. Not all are Pet Friendly, I am. Not all inspect appliances sold with the home, I do.
