- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard rates are generally $80/hr, $120/90 mins, and $160/2 hrs. However, I do offer offer package deals for recurring sessions at a discounted rate. Also, if you have insurance, your massage may be covered through my affiliation with Premier Chiropractic and Rehab.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Each session begins with a brief assessment of your concerns to establish rapport and determine the best combination of services. You will complete a brief questionnaire and consent for treatment. You may also ask any additional questions during this time. Each session concludes with brief education about your condition and instructions for self-care until your next session.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been licensed and practicing massage for over 8 years. I also have experience as a personal trainer and athlete, which gives me a unique approach to massage. I am a member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) and I have kept up my continuing education over the years, constantly striving to improve my craft in order to offer the best massage in Louisiana. This, combined with my heritage as descent of seven Chitimacha chiefs, has earned me the nickname massage chief!
