Introduction: I have experience working for companies and clients in a number of different industries and I have personally worked in a number of different industries so my experience level is more diverse than many other accountants. Also, I do research relating to a specific job when necessary even before I accept it so that I have a good comfort level when I say yes. I like being able to solve problems and create organization for my clients.

After a brief interview with Miss Riley the schedules and returns needed were quickly determined and a very reasonable rate was discussed and agreed upon. She seems very insightful, knowledgable and helpful with my particular tax situation. Although not the most inexpensive I did received a level of service and professionalism that far outweighed the cost of the returns. Highly recommend and I'll defiantly use her services again.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

CPAs in California are required to complete 80 hours of continuing education every two years in order to renew their licenses. I've completed courses in business law, non-profit accounting and business tax return preparation so far this year.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Please be aware that, "you get what you pay for." In order to become a CPA, I obtained a Masters degree in accounting and taxation and worked for one year under the direction of another CPA. In addition, I have over 20 years in accounting and business experience. I don't charge as much per hour as an attorney does, but you're not going to get my level of education, training and experience in someone who is charging $25 per hour or less.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

    I write a blog for small businesses - smallbushelp.com.
