FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am licensed through the Texas Commision of Enviromental Qaulity (TCEQ) as a landscape irrigator and backflow prevention tester. I am also licensed with the Department of Agriculture in pesticides.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I've been in landscaping for 10 years now. It all started getting a part-time job while attending college with a neighbor of mine. It didn't take long for me to realize that I had an ambition for working outdoors, and what better way to do so then creating and maintaining beautiful landscapes. I've since then become licensed in irrigation and backflows and constantly seeking new ways to improve myself.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would say the biggest thing is make sure they are licensed. This has been such a hurdle to overcome in my industry. So many contractors are out there doing the work that are not qualified.
