I had so few replies to my offer that approximated what I asked for that I showed Magic Media Marketing as hired from what I knew at the that time. I actually thought from the phone,text,email exchange that a visit from Texas to Portland Oregon was worth while as I would be going to Port Townsend anyway. I had full intentions of hiring the company while there; however I did not.
My meeting revealed that the company had resources in India that would be handling my account. I could not accept that they could maintain relevant data of interest to my prospect clientele. The use of a written contract or proposal was not available for review. The price for the rebuilding of my website was high compared to others I had spoke with and details as to what is needed and would be changed/repaired was not available.
I have found a standardized website available through NAR ( National Association of REALTORS) that has the social media marketing built-in and we are in the process of completing a new website and will hire someone locally to input, maintain and post local data.
I have used Thumbtack several times now and have been pleased with previous results.
