Introduction: I encourage children to excel in piano by making sure it is also fun! I started piano lessons when I was 3 years old from 5 different instructors (including college), and from my experiences, I aim to make learning piano a fun and creative process!

Ms. Leah is amazing with my 9 year old daughter. She has learned so much in just a few short months of lessons. Ms. Leah makes it very fun and my child looks forward to going every week!

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

$15 per half hour per student. This includes learning theory as well. I use many piano book sources (such as Alfred and Piano Adventures). Students are to pay for their own books (which I buy for the lowest price possible) that I provide. Method of preferred payment is by cash or check monthly ($60 a month per student).

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I studied music at Indiana Wesleyan University for voice (which you must also take piano lessons and pass the highest level class). I currently have only two singing recitals to complete to graduate with my bachelor's.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

My parents both went to college for music and graduated with music education degrees. I am the first in my family to have honed the skill of playing piano thanks to my mother for refusing to let me give up when I wanted to. Now, music is my biggest passion in life!
