- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$25 for 30 minutes $37.50 for 45 minutes $50 for 60 minutes A 30 minute lesson is appropriate for most grade school children. 45 minutes may be more appropriate for high school students and adults. 60 minutes lessons are generally for highly advanced students or students doing two instruments such as piano and violin.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After an initial contact on Thumbtack, I like to speak with potential new customers to hear more about their interests and goals. At that point, we set up a trial lesson do determine which books and material will be needed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Masters Degree in Education 42 years of musical study and performance. 30 years of part-time professional performanace and semi-professional performance. 10 years running my own music studio as a full-time business
