FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $100 a month for 4 - 30 minute lessons or $200 a month for 4 - 60 minute lessons. Individual lessons are $30 for 30 minutes and $60 for 60 minutes. I charge $100 for a 90 minute audition prep package which includes a video of your audition material.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to schedule a complimentary "test drive" with all new students. At this meeting, we compare the student's current ability and musical goals with my teaching knowledge and methods to see if I can help them achieve those goals in a manner suitable to the student. If we are a good fit, I will prepare a custom "plan of action" to jump start the learning process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in music education. My principal instrument is voice and my secondary is piano. I am a certified K-!2 music teacher. The majority of my public school experience included high school concert choir, musical theater and competitive show choir. I am currently in my 22nd year of teaching private voice, piano and acting lessons. I teach the internationally renowned Estill Vocal Craft in my studio which gives my students the tools needed to perfect all singing styles. My piano and acting instructional methods vary according to each student and their goals.
