About this pro

How does your service stand out?

I am committed to putting the student first. If you are not successful, I have failed at my job and therefore I am not successful either. All of our instructors believe in student focused instruction. We are there for you every step of the way! Former students are always in touch and they send their friends and relatives to N.W. Pathways NAC Training Center. Our Graduates are preferred employees all over Washington State.

What do you enjoy about the work you do?

I love helping people! I became a nurse to help others. I saw a need for nursing assistants to be trained as the professionals that they are and started my school. It is pretty cool to help people get jobs, get into nursing school or just do something meaningful with their lives. The super, cool, bonus is that our ill and vulnerable seniors also benefit when our NAC/CNA staff are well trained.

Kim is an amazing teacher and makes becoming an NAC fun and exciting. She teaches you everything that you need to know to become a caring and great NAC. I had a blast in her class and will recommend any of my friends that are looking into this profession to take her class because she truly is the best. She also cares about all of her students and wants everyone to succeed.

Lovely instructor. She is very enthusiastic person and often raised important questions or problems which helps the student develop a passion for the field of health-care. She relates course content to real-world issues and she treats all students with respect and fairness. She also gives clear and meaningful explanations, uses appropriate examples and illustrations, and provides useful feedback on student progress. Additionally, this course was designed to well-prepare students to successfully pass the required NACES exam to obtain the NAC credential. Overall I value my learning experience with this instructor and the NAC training course she designed.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Check that the School has a legal right and a license to advertise and operate as a Private Career/Vocation School. Check with the Washington State Department of Health and Department of Social and Health Services to verify that the training program is approved by them and that they are allowed to teach nursing assisting. You should also ask about the school's NNAAP pass rate statistics.
