Introduction

A level personality, a drive to make a difference, a God-given talent, an instinct to exceed expectations, and a deep compassion inherited from my mother, all flow directly into my work. The combination of these things and experience integrate my vision and allow me to create imagery unique of anyone. It's the most gratifying thing I have ever done. My camera connects me to the world and keeps me in touch with humanity and what's important. It connects you to your world. When done well, it keeps sacred and special memories of people and moments fresh and alive. Oh, the power of the still frame! I could go on and on...I cannot imagine doing anything else.

I absolutely love Mallory! We couldnt be happier with our newborn/family photos. Mallory gave us a perfect blend of professionally staged photos plus the less formal, but equally beautiful, candid images too. Her ability to capture all of the love/joy/excitement in our family was remarkable. Even my husband, who despises having his picture taken, was photographed with a genuine smile. Mallory was very calm and patient; she put all of us at ease even with the stress of having a 2 week old baby and a delightfully sassy 15 month old. Overall, Mallory was a dream to work with her positive energy and dazzling creativity makes for a terrific experience and even more incredible photographs.

Mallory committed to a portrait session for our working dog Kai in February 2019. The session unexpectedly turned out to be a fun and breathtakingly memorable active family photo session! We originally wanted the session to focus on Kai in a natural, outdoor setting which is where we all already individually and collectively spend a large portion of our professional and personal time. Having had contact with Mallory at multiple outdoor industry functions, I was already exposed to and familiar with her work ethic and portfolio in rugged, active, outdoor settings. Her portfolio covers a wide range of angles, playful, creative, and insanely genius use of light, and captures unfiltered human emotion in an instant. What made her work most memorable for me and my family was the organic connection we’ve been able to sustain despite time, life changes and distance. Her communication from the onset was clear, timely, consistent and full of genuine, unwavering commitment. We didn't have any concerns going into the photo session since Kai was our primary focus. When she graciously encouraged us into some of the photos, we initially resisted. Mallory's authentic intention for people erased all our camera-shy nerves within minutes. Nervous laughs turned into once-in-a-lifetime moments at one of our beloved local outdoor spots. As a Special Operations family living in a state of high operational tempo, it's not often we're in the same place at once. It's been about 15 years since our last photo session. Mallory captured and delivered all our emotions, thoughts and feelings in each of the snapshots taken during the session. She captured Kai's magical and alpha-like personality at dusk and delivered some of the loveliest and mysteriously beautiful silhouette family photos we've ever seen. We got an accurate representation of what we've been through, are going through and where we're going. Mallory captured all our emotions, thoughts and feelings from behind her lens and her innate ability to organically connect with us as her clients. Having had no issues with the entire process from initial contact, booking, communication, in-session and post-production, it is with zero hesitation we highly recommend Mallory to outdoorsy and active businesses, individuals, couples, families and their children and pets who want to capture truly intimate and special moments and milestones in action.
