FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The pricing for installing tile can vary depending on the size and how many cuts the job has. We have standard pricing for installing vanities, sinks, cabinets, fixtures, etc. I always include the price of the materials to set the tile on i.e. backerboard and underlayment and the materials to adhere the tile within the install quote.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We set up a time to meet at the work site to gather information then take it to our office to work up a very detailed estimate. We understand that our customers have a budget and if one of the items on our estimate is optional they can remove it and stay within their budget.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in the tile/stone field for 30 years. I worked for many companies and myself in Las Vegas, NV before moving to Colorado. The standards in Nevada are very high and I brought those standards with me. I did a lot of custom homes and commercial spaces. I am an expert at floating/building any size floor that needs a drain. I had a reputation for being the guy they brought in to ensure the layout was correct or to fix poorly laid out jobs.
