What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is dependent on whether client needs bookkeeping cleanup work done, a special short-term project or long-term services. Since no 2 clients are exactly the same in the needs that they have or the amount of time that is required to complete what they need, this is discussed on a one on one basis.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
They let me know how they are currently performing the responsibilities of bookkeeping and payroll management. Then they let me know the areas they are most interested in receiving assistance. I make suggestions on how to improve the processes they have in place and we work out a plan with deadlines to meet their stated goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have had my own business since 2001, initially working with QuickBooks Desktop and currently working within the QuickBooks online environment. I am certified as a bookkeeper thru American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers.
