Introduction: For the last five years, I have been delivering the highest quality music education to my students' homes. My service stands out because I come to you, and my background in music and music education are extensive. I hold and Master of Arts degree and am working towards a PhD in music from the University of California Berkeley, where I teach musicianship courses to undergraduates. I went to two premier music schools on the east coast, taught at the community college level, and have been working with private students for nearly ten years.
I enjoy watching my students learn and cultivate enjoyment, appreciation, and understanding of music. I enjoy working with beginners, especially children, because their attitudes and learning styles are always fresh, different, and their minds are open. At the same time, I enjoy working with longtime musicians too, coming up with new strategies and exercises to help these students reach new goals and discover potential they never knew was there.
