Introduction: I am a Portland based opera singer and voice instructor. My mission is to help people find their voices and have a blast learning about their own vocal instrument.
I encourage a solid classical technique so that my students are set up for a lifetime of vocal health and the ability to sing comfortably for years to come.
I have taught students of all ages privately and at Humboldt State University's Music Academy, the University of Oregon School of Music and Dance, and with Opera Nova Costa Rica.
Whatever your vocal goals, I can help you along a very enjoyable path.

I took voice lessons with Sarah for quite a long time. I was barely trained in jazz vocals. Sarah is a very lovable, ambitious person. Great teacher. She always encouraged me and was very knowledgeable about all things singing. :) I grew so much through our lessons and I still practice her vocal techniques to this day.
