FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing varies depending on the scope of each individual project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, a potential client contacts me in regards to getting more information or a price estimate for a design job (logo, wedding invitations, web design, etc). I have an online questionnaire that I request my client fills out. From that questionnaire, I am able to create a quote that I send via email. If the client approves the quote, then I request a signed contract and a 50% deposit up front. The contract outlines the timeline and scope of the project. Then the work begins. Depending on the project, I typically allow up to 3 rounds of revisions. Once the project is completed, the client pays the remaining 50% of the cost.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism with an emphasis in Creative Advertising from the University of Missouri-Columbia (MIZZOU – Go Tigers!). I previously worked for several great companies as a graphic designer in their communication and marketing departments. I worked on tradeshows, logo design, flyers, brochures, print campaigns, social media graphics, web design and so much more. I am a firm believer in continuing education. I am currently pursuing web development and web design training courses to improve my skills and stay up to date with the latest trends.
