I I have worked with customers from 4 to 84, some come to me with experience, but the vast majority have never had private music lessons before.

Introduction: I have been teaching music since I was young and can recite many stories that support my influence and impact on others lives. The parents that tell me they love hearing music throughout their homes. The students that received extra scholarship funds with their music achievements. The students that send me their band clips it songs for purchase😘. But most of all, having families stay with me for ten and fifteen years is the biggest reassurance that I am having a lasting impact. And their continued contact well after they have graduated or moved on.
Throughout each lesson I see visible progress, wheels turning in the students head so to speak. It never gets old. And we have fun. Each lesson is a new adventure, a new challenge, a new joyful achievement.

Having taken guitar lessons under Sharon Hood for 6 years I can proudly assert she is one of the most knowledgeable, capable, and friendly music teachers I've had the pleasure of learning from. Throughout my years with Sharon I went from 0 experience with guitar to playing paid performances in the community as well as substitute teaching for her in a jam. She has taught myself, my younger brother (piano), as well as my younger cousins and friend, and she seriously works wonders, especially with children! If you're looking for someone who not only knows their stuff, but is willing to take the time to get to know you and make sure you are learning to the best of your ability, look no further than Sharon Hood Music Studio.

Could not have asked for a better music teacher. Her teaching methods are very approachable and easy to comprehend. They are very informational and entertaining and make learning music fun. I have grown tremendously as a piano student and a person with her. Along with this, her hours are very convenient and she is very accommodating if you need to switch your schedule. Sharon Hood is a tremendous music teacher.

Everything I could have asked for in a music teacher. She makes learning fun and works with me at my pace. She has a lot of experience and I feel I am learning in the most efficient way possible. Also, she is a very pleasant and nice. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to start taking music lessons.
