Our business is personal and individual to the clients' needs.
Working with wood is a rare and exclusive artistry and our family was always very artistically inclined. We thoroughly enjoy the versatility and elegance of this trade from a young age. Our professionals have all been trained from their late teens as apprentices which is important to us. We also enjoy working and living in New England. Our RI and MA clients from first to last have been very important to us.

Tamas and his team did an excellent job removing old floors -- laminate wood and tile -- and then installing engineered hard wood. Tamas's work all around was excellent -- from the moment we began discussing the project, to the project in action, to afterwords, Tamas was very attentive to questions I had, explaining the process along the way. I'm most impressed with the quality of his workmanship -- and that he was able to mix a stain color that nearly replicated the color I wanted. And all of this was done through sending photos over email as I was not at the location in person. He matched the color perfectly.
I highly recommend Tamas Wood Floors for all of these reasons.

We bought a house with white oak floors that were in bad shape. Tamas and his sons (family business are always the way to go!) were able to make them come back to life. Even the really damaged and previously patched spots came back to looking good considering what they had to work with. Tamas was very upfront about not addressing any floor gaps as in his experience one should just live with the natural seasonal changes. I've seen poor treatment of gaps before where the wood filler cracks and things end up looking even worse then before. The amount of dust was pretty minimal for such a potentially messy job.
His price was very fair also. It is also very important to notice that communication was a breeze. Tamas was very good at answering emails and the crew was very courteous, neat, and punctual. I would recommend him without reservation to anyone needing their wood floors refinished.
