FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Session 1-6 is spent assessing the clients mobility, coordination, agility, flexibility and comprehension of the basics of human movement and fundamental martial arts techniques. Once the initial 6 sessions have been completed successfully the client can move on to the next level of training where we can then begin to implement more advanced moves and techniques.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Cpr/Aed certified. Over 10 years of martial arts training and teaching.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I work with veterans, teaching them advanced fitness and self defense techniques (hybrid training program located at the university of New Haven) I do work with children and adults on the spectrum. I work with troubled youth programs. I also do work with children as young as 3 years old; training martial arts at this age can develop great motor skills and coordination. Also, the disciplinary aspect of being involved in martial arts is phenomenal for all people; young kids especially.
