FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I generally give Quotes based on the job as a whole. I don't like giving hourly rate quotes. Mainly because I believe hourly quotes can add stress to the customer, by making them hope that the job is completed as fast as possible. That also makes Workers feel rushed, which we all know can sometimes lead to jobs of low quality. Our priority will always be "quality over quantity"
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We always like to set up an in person meeting to go over the job at hand and get a "Feel" for our customers personality and general expectations as soon as possible. This allows us to get to know the customer better and allows the customer to get comfortable with us before any work is started. It's nice to get past being a "stranger" to each other right from the beginning.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a HVAC service technician for 7 years. During that time I also went to electrical school and worked under a master electrician for 2 years. While working as a HVAC tech I learned general plumbing by on the job training. I learned most of my general carpentry skills while working with my Grandpa, who was a contractor, through out my youth. I also attended college for 3 years majoring in electrical engineering.
