Kim helped my son with writing. She gave him engaging and helpful resources. Her patience and enthusiasm make her a gifted tutor. I have also seen her work with students on math. With a younger Child she devised a fun way of counting by twos, threes etc while taking steps outside which made the activity fun. She was great at helping with middle and high school math as well.

I attend workshops to improve my skills.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I worked as a writer and photographer for the newspaper. I later became a teacher.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I was able to work with a young lady and discover how to reach her through tactile learning with food, combining it with math and word problems. It was also a chance to improve her reading.
