No, depending on what is best for the client, it is either on an hourly rate or by the complete job..

How did you get started doing this type of work?
My first work by education is in Medical Technology, however I soon realized I am a "people person" and have a passion for creating Balance and Harmony. I think it's a "Libra" thing.
What types of customers have you worked with?
My jobs are really all over the board. I do as little or as much as the client need. It may be a couple of window coverings, a paint consultation, a full kitchen or bath remodel or new construction.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
One of the most fun jobs was the Vancouver Wa "Tour of Remodeled Homes". It was a full home remodel and it was voted " Best Overall" by the public.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Since working with a designer is a personal experience, you need to feel comfortable with that person, since they will be peaking into your personal lives and space.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I wish everyone knew, just how hard I strive to please them and create interiors or exteriors that will make them feel incredible.
