FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I treat each wedding individually since there are many variables. Each wedding is special and a reflection of the couple's personality. No two weddings will be alike. My price points for the customary wedding florals are as follows: 1. Bridal Bouquet - typically $85 and up. Depends on flower types and bouquet style. 2. Bridesmaid Bouquets - typically $45 and up. Depends on flower types and bouquet style. 3. Boutonnieres - typically $8 - $12. 4. Pin-on Corsages - typically $22 - $25. 5. Wrist Corsages - typically $22 - $25. 6. Altar Arrangements - $75 and up. 7. Cake Flowers - $8 - $12 per layer. All other floral pieces can vary greatly depending upon individual preferences and are priced after we discuss them. I always encourage pictures of what the bride envisions for her floral pieces. Knowing the bride's favorite flowers is also helpful as well as color scheme. I am available for questions and love to talk about wedding flowers. With proof of service, I am happy to extend military discounts. Thank you, I hope this helps a bit.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I set up an initial consultation to listen to what the couple is envisioning for their wedding.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Although I now live in New Hampshire I am a member of the Connecticut Florists' Association where I took basic, intermediate and advanced floral design through the CFA leading to certification.
