World Language and ESL Tutoring

Introduction: I have been a professional educator for over 26 years. Most of my teaching experience before I retired was with middle school students, but I have also taught elementary world language, and English as a second language to children and adults. I have a native speaker ability in Spanish and I am fluent in French. I thoroughly enjoy teaching languages and the cultures they represent. I believe that language and culture should be taught hand-in-hand, and that learning a world language helps students to understand the world they live in. I love watching students develop their abilities to communicate and understand the language they are learning. Teaching children is especially gratifying because they have no inhibitions. Their brains are literally like sponges and they can absorb what they're learning so much faster.
