5-Star Rating-Very Highly Recommended - A professional from first contact to job completion. Have Tool Will Work offers both superior customer service and outstanding attention to detail. Guy responded with a prompt price quote and answered all my questions before scheduling the job. Upon arrival, he took careful measurements and planned each step BEFORE beginning work. I liked that he’s responsive to questions and communicating his work plans. He planned work using a cost-effective approach, maximizing the use of materials when cutting and saving me 50% in plexiglass material costs. After completing the job, he even went the additional step of spraying foam sealant into space gaps preventing insects from entering my unit. I was most impressed with the workmanship and quality of the finished product. I will definitely hire him again and have already recommended his company to a property manager friend.

BEST HANDMAN EVER!! I needed to have a new microwave installed. Guy Simmons gave me a reasonable quotation for the job and was able to get me on his schedule quickly. He arrived promptly and proceeded to remove the old micro - not an easy task, but he got it out. On to the new micro. The granite backsplash came up too high to allow room for the mounting bracket. Guy brain-stormed a few options, none of which were going to work. He arrived at the solution of using the old mounting bracket from the original micro. It wasn't perfect, so he made cuts in the metal to adapt it to the new micro. Other adjustments had to be made, such as access to the electrical source, using shims to stabilize the micro, etc. What should have been a 2 hr job, turned into a 3 1/2 hr session! (he more than earned his extra tip!) The results: a perfect installation. Guy impressed me with his perseverance, dedication to solving the problems he encountered and ability to work it out and not just throw up his hands and declare the job impossible. Not everyone would be that diligent. Also, he's a very friendly, engaging individual. I would welcome Guy back for ANY job I may need done in the future. Having his contact number is like gold! Hire Guy Simmons, aka "Have Tool-Will Work" for your next project - you'll be happy you did! :-)

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My hourly fee is $150.00 - that said, I provide estimates/quote and am happy to work with customers to achieve a fixed budget while still meeting their needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Years of experience with tools and construction work. Not to mention, bachelor’s degrees in chemistry and biology.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up in remote area of Alaska - tool use, fixing and maintenance is a part of that way of life. Plus, I worked construction during seasonal off times and worked for a year in a custom high end cabinet shop.
