I had such a great time getting my engagementphotos done with SO Photo. Kayla is so friendly and creative, and she totally understood our goofy sense of humor. Even though it was cold and windy the day of our shoot, she found great spots for us and made us feel comfortable the entire time. Of course her photography is incredible too!

I met Kayla when I was out looking for wedding venues. Although I didn’t book the venue I met her at, it proved to be a great spot to meet our photographer. We booked our engagement shots and wedding package with her within the month.
We planned a winter engagement shoot and she took our requests to wait for a day with snow to heart. We had to reschedule a few times due to weather but we were so happy to have waited. She braved negative temps and thigh high snow to help us get some great shots.
Weddings are super stressful. There’s always 20 more people than you need trying to help. Kayla was awesome and helped take charge and control the setting... and not just with the photos. I appreciated it so much! She was great about making sure to get the shots we had talked about and helping me stay on time with our timeline. I loved that she could take charge and still fade into the background so that people and personalities could shine. That is a really hard line to walk and she does it with ease.
I’ve always been behind the lens and am rarely in front of it, so it’s always scary for me to give up the control with the camera but it was easy and worth it to give it to Kayla. She has a great eye and a beautiful aesthetic.
If you have the ability to work with Kayla, just do it. There are a ton of photographers in the area, but Kayla is a true professional who is willing to work with you and your ideas. You will not be disappointed.

I offer Military and First Responder discounts.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I generally ask a few questions to get an idea of the customers needs and expectations. Details help paint a picture of what they're wanting. From there we arrange a good day, time, & location for photos. I am open to phone, text, or email communications.
