I spoke to Carl a few times and was interested in hiring for the remodel job. However, he had made a commitment for May 2018 to attend a Union schooling in order to upgrade his skills and would take 3 years of completion. The remodel job wouldn’t start until mid May 2018 because the kitchen cabinets hadn’t arrived yet, in which case he wouldn’t be able to do the kitchen remodel because of his commitment to attend the union school in May

Excellent general contractor, I hired him initially for a hardwood and masonry floor job. As the old floors came out and mold was discovered he was also able to replace the subfloors as well to eliminate the problem completely. Carl was very knowlegable and kept me updated on progress regularly as well as suggesting durability upgrades along the way to ensure the work was done right without a doubt the first time.

Quality of work and price were both excellent. The only complaint I had was with the Thumbtack app itself. It was a little confusing, you send a question/RFP to some contractors, and contractors, other than ones sent a bid/question, answered as well.

Over 25 years experience in all aspects of the building trade, I have been working for arctic Interiors LLC doing strictly remodels and restoration work for some time now
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My father was a contractor and painter,I helped him as a youngster, started building cabins in the fairbanks area in my teens, I love every step of building and construction
