Introduction
We are a very service oriented company. We consider the customer needs and create great solutions, designs and estimates for remodels, renovations, additions to existing homes and businesses; new custom homes, new commercial buildings I really like working with the customer to create their building needs and ideas on paper, and then making that idea a reality by building it just like the picture. I really like seeing a satisfied customer.

The Letlow Company has recently completed a beautiful renovation/ remodel of a historic building for our business. The project was completed in a professional and timely manner and within the estimated budget. Mr. Letlow designed an architecturally pleasing space that is both functional and period appropriate. The project was so successful we have begun a second project with the Letlow company.

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

We have been in business a long time and have done many different types of jobs from hanging a door for someone to building an industrial factory. We enjoy working with the customer to create just what they want and working out the budget to help customer realize cost of different options in the job. We do additions and remodels of existing homes and businesses mostly now, although over the last 30 years we have built over 400 new homes, most of them custom homes.

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I am very proud of a renovation we recently completed in downtown Opelika for Alligare. This was an 80-100 year old building we restored and renovated to create a custom office space. This building was in very bad condition from aging and the owner and I worked together and created a design to make the space work efficiently for the business. After doing that, we got to make it a reality.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

When considering an addition, remodel or a new custom home make sure you do your homework. Research the items you want included, get references from previous customers and make sure you get well documented contract to be sure you understand what you think you are getting is the same thing the builder is expecting to produce for you. Spell out all details including payment plan on the contract. The more detail you have in the beginning the smoother the project will go because it makes both the builder and owner consider the details before needing to know. As long as both parties are on the same page the project should go very well.
