David quoted us a price prior to moving, noting he may need two trucks. Charged for second truck once furniture delivered , asked us to give his helpers a gratuity. Sorry Linda you had a tough time with the canceling of our first date months ago. The weather wasn't the greatest either with the Hurricane in South Carolina. I was always in touch with you the whole time. We loaded you one day, maybe 30 mins. late. Got you loaded and had more than I thought. Didn't say anything and told you it would be a day of travel the next day. We left for South Carolina once you confirmed the closing went through. We arrive and unloaded 1st truck. The only problem that you and I saw was a rub mark on front of dryer which we would get someone to repair. The second truck, was full of garage boxes and misc. Linda, you did your on packing for the move..when you don't fill the boxes to the top, anything that is put on top of it will cause it to get push in some. We are not responsible for what you pack. Asking for you to tip the two movers was standard on all out of town moves, especially yours since it got cancelled months ago and these two lost days of work because of it. We padded all your furniture so how whatever got scratched is strange. For you to give us a 1 star review here on Thumbtack and tell customers to stay away is not right. David Hodge Metro Movers
