- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Dustin charges based on three criterion: Production, Creative, and Licensing. These fees may be invoiced individually or included as one lump sum. Production = Internal Cost of Doing Business: gear, software, insurance needed; times of work, travel, assistants & labor, etc. Creative = Dustin Massey Studios creativity rated to maintain a successful business model: Dustin's professional qualifications ensuring you efficient, robust, world-class creativity; number of images delivered. Licensing = How & Where Your Images will be used: Riders added for additional uses outside of 'Standard Commercial' or 'Standard Personal' - like "Large Print Display for 1 Year".
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Dustin likes to ensure he has a full comprehension of your work before offering a proposal. Often, leads can expect a phone consultation before fully booking. Once booked, Dustin will ensure quality levels of communication all the way through our production date to invoice being cleared to the final customer review.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Dustin was classically trained, receiving a minor in Photography at Birmingham-Southern College. He has spent 13 years perfecting his craft with access to industry-leading mentors, their educationals and courses, as well as a working background in development and hospitality to ensure friendly client experiences.
