FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most of my pricing is material at cost; labor varies by job type $20-30/hr; I offer discounts on bulk work or bigger jobs can be a lump sum. I do my best to be reasonable and am open to negotiation on some aspects of my pricing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I introduce myself and what I can do for the customer. Then I discuss the work needed to ensure I understand exactly what the desired finish product should be. When I have all the details needed, I work up an estimate, present it to the client, and upon agreement, schedule a time. When the work is complete, I clean up any mess made, ensure the customer is happy with the result (making adjustments as necessary), and thank them for the opportunity to help make their vision a reality.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I fitted fire sprinklers for 3 years as an apprentice in the Union; helped on many different home projects to include decks, remodels, and other framing; I have 4 years of electrical training and awaiting testing for license (COVID delays)
