When I put in the request Mack responded very quickly. His price was reasonable. I told him what i needed done. He gave his opinion which was very helpful. Raymond did a great job recaulking our old shower / tub. He took extra time to educate me on his process and made sure to ask questions along the way so that the job was to our liking. He also cleaned out old grout and glue to make sure the job was done right. Would definitely recommend!

Seriously, if anyone needs projects completed around your house then PLEASE call Mack of All Trades. We hired him to install a sink and disposal. He was so precise in his work. Cost was so much less than what Lowes was charging. He arrived on time and always responded quickly to our calls. We cannot be happier with his work ethic and professionalism. We hired Ray to hang an entryway mirror and replace some cracked grout in two of our showers. He did an amazing job! He even assembled our mirror for us (we forgot to do this prior to him coming). What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
for handy man type work I charge a $175 minimum (covers the first 2 hours) and $75/hr for any additional time.
Remodels or trim is different by job and requires an in person inspection to provide an estimate.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We would make contact and establish a time for me to come and check out the job. depending on the type of job i may take measurements, pictures, notes and lists of your preferences, etc. to ensure we have a good mutual understanding of what youre looking to have done.
Once a price has been agreed upon and im given the ok to start. i will generally ask for material cost up front to purchase materials. and payment upon completion (depending on size of job payment may be made in installments)
Communication is key in this line of work so as long as we both stay in touch then everything will flow smoothly as it should!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
ive spent the last 12 years working for well established companies doing concrete foundations(2.5 years), hardwood flooring and general remodeling (2 years) and custom millwork and cabinetry (7.5 years)
