Steve came to check out my project and give me an estimate on a fairly involved project, and got here when he said he would, provided the estimate when he said he would, and has just been a total pro so far and the prices are...chef's kiss...SO good.

We had to have some pipes replaced so we searched Thumbtack and found Steve of Goble Construction. Steve came right out and gave us an estimate of the repairs. We were so impressed with his work and his pricing that the job expanded to include flooring and painting as well. Weather, in the form of snow and ice, interrupted the job for a couple of days. However, on the 3rd day of the city being practically shut down Steve found a way to make it to our residence and completed 2/3rds of the remaining work. We were impressed with Steve's friendliness, dedication to completing the job, and craftsmanship. Unfortunately, 3 weeks later the remaining 1/3rd of the job remains unfinished. We had 5 appointments with Steve broken over the span of 2 weeks. On the day of this review, I was told I'd be contacted again to set up a time to complete this work but I have not heard from Steve at all. Overall, my experience with Steve at Goble Construction has been quite good. He is a highly-skilled craftsman who knows performs exceptional work and does so at fantastic prices. I had to deduct a point from my review due to his forgetfulness and lack of follow-through with this project. That aside, I would do business with Steve and Goble Construction again in the future.

We wanted to make better use of our backyard, so we had them design an outdoor living space with a pergola. The result is a stunning outdoor retreat that we use constantly. They built a custom stone fireplace, added seating, and installed a beautiful pergola that provides just the right amount of shade. What really impressed me was their creative use of materials—they recommended a mix of wood and stone that complements our house perfectly. The craftsmanship is top-tier, and the space looks like something out of a magazine.
