Steve came to check out my project and give me an estimate on a fairly involved project, and got here when he said he would, provided the estimate when he said he would, and has just been a total pro so far and the prices are...chef's kiss...SO good.

We had to have some pipes replaced so we searched Thumbtack and found Steve of Goble Construction. Steve came right out and gave us an estimate of the repairs. We were so impressed with his work and his pricing that the job expanded to include flooring and painting as well. Weather, in the form of snow and ice, interrupted the job for a couple of days. However, on the 3rd day of the city being practically shut down Steve found a way to make it to our residence and completed 2/3rds of the remaining work. We were impressed with Steve's friendliness, dedication to completing the job, and craftsmanship. Unfortunately, 3 weeks later the remaining 1/3rd of the job remains unfinished. We had 5 appointments with Steve broken over the span of 2 weeks. On the day of this review, I was told I'd be contacted again to set up a time to complete this work but I have not heard from Steve at all. Overall, my experience with Steve at Goble Construction has been quite good. He is a highly-skilled craftsman who knows performs exceptional work and does so at fantastic prices. I had to deduct a point from my review due to his forgetfulness and lack of follow-through with this project. That aside, I would do business with Steve and Goble Construction again in the future.

The bathroom remodel was a complete room remodel (mold removal, room leveling, plumbing, wall tile, floor tile, shower install, vanity install, LED mirror install, ceiling vent install). Work began aug 2023 and ended mid Sept 2023. Toilet plumbing was requested to be centered in front of window. Toilet is offset center by over 3 inches. Toilet is also way too close to the window and could not have window trim properly installed because there is no room. Sink drainage under vanity was leaking (we re did ourselves) and was found to be a mix of new and old pvc pieces cut and mixed together. It just needed a new kit. Sink faucet handles were installed reversed (hot/cold reversed) and backwards. We redid them. Grout is literally everywhere and had to be (and some is still remaining/still needs to be) painstakingly scraped up which marred/scuffed new ceramic tile. Ceiling vent was caulked/sealed shut meaning the motor would run but there was sealant preventing air from being vented out (Eyeroll). Shower is leaking not only from faucet handle but is also leaking FROM UNDER THE HOUSE INTO CRAWL SPACE!!!!!! Literally the original shower leaking and destroying the floor is why we needed bathroom remodel and Goble construction knew this! Twenty thousand phûcking dollars WASTED.
