They are not who they say they are. Mike claims to have been a contractor and project manager/estimator. He under bid our job and whined about it the entire time! He claimed that we should have caught that he under bid the job. Mike said it would take him 2 weeks to complete our upstairs. It took him 6 and when we let him go there were so many things that had to be fixed or completed. It took him a week to plumb the toilet, vanity and shower. He installed the toilet and did not measure the distance from the supply line. A real carpenter with skills should have known to check for this.
Mike and his son started projects and then took forever to complete them. Our entire upstairs had to be repainted. We had to hire someone to complete our tile shower and fix the poor craftsmanship. He laid the laminate floors upstairs and there are gaps and chips in the flooring all throughout our upstairs. We always paid him when he asked for payment. We were more than patient with him!
I have thought long and hard over this review. I did not want to put this out there because I do not like talking bad about someone. After all the items that we had to fix ourselves or pay someone to fix them, I feel a responsibility to warn others before they hire Randall Enterprises. Mike comes off as a genuinely nice helpful guy. And that he is. But his craftsmanship is below average and cost my husband and I a lot of money and heartache.
Mike can do small jobs like repair a fence or rough framing. Anything that requires quality work should not be completed by him or his son.
All this said, we were willing to swallow a lot of this but in the end we said "ok we will take over from here. He gladly abandoned us. He ordered our cabinets and didn't give us any of the contact information or invoice. We had no idea who to contact regarding our cabinets. That caused me 2 days of back and forth phone calls to find out where he bought our stuff. He stopped taking our calls! Painful working with Mike and working after him!
This review makes me feel horrible! But I have to make sure no one else gets burned like we did!

needed roof repair from leak in the roof finishing mold mediation, knowing storm might be coming in this area soon Mike and his son came to give me estimate and it was lucky for me he had an opening 2 days later. he repaired the problems that the other roofer did not do correctly to seal around the fireplace. . he took off the metal roof area around the bad place plus the surround ing area ,replace the bad boards , and did extra steps into making sure it was not going to leak again in that area, A job well done and I would recommend his work for other people needing his service.. Thank you very much and I am sure it will not be the last time I use you. His rates were very fair and reasonable,hope this helps other people,the 5 stars matter

According to Thumbtack, Randall Enterprises was the only roofing company in the area that was interested in accepting my job. I contacted Mr. Randall and he promptly returned my call and set up an appointment. He was extremely thorough during his inspection as I was explaining where the roof leaks were and also describing some other small projects(fence repair, privacy gate rebuild, screen door replacement, and dry wall repair) that needed attention. He took pictures as we looked at each of the projects and then took the time to explain what needed to be done. I was surprised when he said that he could take care of all of it for me! He gave me a reasonable estimate in writing and completed the project much sooner than I had anticipated and on budget!!! I can not say enough good things about Mike and his son Michael. So professional and truly taking pride in their work. Everything looks great! They left nothing for me to clean up. I will not hesitate to call them again and will happily recommend them to anyone that needs roof repair or other repairs around the home. Thank you again Mike and Michael!
