We're very satisfied with our new parking pad. Josh brought six men and all kinds of machines to our tiny space. They meticulously cleared the space with shovels and blowers, then sprayed tacky stuff before rolling out the asphalt. They tamped it down with a big roller and a small roller and a stompy machine and a guy with metal plates on his shoes. In addition, they coved the asphalt up to give us a no-step entrance to the deck, so we can get a walker or wheelchair down. And they put in the parking stops to guard the deck. The drainage strip was deep with the new asphalt layer, and it's just lovely filled with soil and plants. It looks so good and the walk to the car is much safer now.
