Katja Korsch

Introduction: Katja Korsch is a native and fluent German speaker who offers German lessons and tutorials. I am a native German who speaks, reads and writes fluently, so I am ideally situated to coach you, whether you are having difficulty in an existing German class at school or want to learn a new language from scratch. Because of my years of teaching experience, I understand that people learn and process new information in different ways, and I know how to adjust my teaching methods to suit an individual's learning style. In addition, I am exceptionally patient and believe that learning should be fun! I teach German in a way that allows you to actually use the language the very first day. I have a dynamic, interactive teaching style that will let you have fun learning the vocabulary and grammar rules and not be memorizing boring charts and tables that initially make no sense! I learned a long time ago that if something makes no sense, you will not remember it! Learning a language is a very organic experience, and is best learned (like many other things) by actually doing it, and having someone experienced coach you as you go along. This is where I have an edge over other German instructors: German is my first language so I have the built-in "ear". I know what it is really supposed to sound like not an Americanized version, but true and correct pronunciation. Learning and mastering a new language opens up a whole new world for you and allow me to help you!
