FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We do not charge for an evaluation of your home. Our first meeting is designed to provide a thorough inspection of your home and identify all of the moisture threats you are experiencing. From there, we provide detailed Evaluation Report for you to educate you on the current condition of your crawlspace. Next, we discuss all of your repair options with in an attempt to narrow down the scope of work. All of our projects are custom designed in partnership with you the homeowner. Pricing schedules are assigned after we have agreed upon a scope of work you are most comfortable with.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our first objective when we meet with a prospective client is to clarify your personal goals and objectives for your home. For example, how long do you intend to stay at this location? Our repair plans are custom designed and built to your specification. If you might move in the next 10 years, we want to design a repair plan that matches your timeline. On the other hand if you have intentions of staying in your home for the long haul, we want to make certain your repair plan is supported by design and materials that will outlast you and your timeline. We begin with a comprehensive evaluation of your home. Then we scale a graph of the foundation and floor system. This enables us to discuss your repairs based upon the real data of your home. We are also able to utilize these measurements in the future to create a pricing structure based upon exact material and labor rates instead of rounding numbers using costs per foot or square footage. This, in turn, provides the most accurate cost of your project. Once we have gathered the data and analytics of your home, we sit down with you to explain the science of your home. We know that the crawl space can be one of the most opinionated areas of the home. As a result, we do not share our opinions but explain the science and math instead. In doing so, we believe two things will be accomplished: 1) We will earn your trust & confidence with research & facts and telling you the truth, 2) You will be capable of making decisions based on science instead of opinions.
