- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are lower than most because I do most of the work myself so I have low overhead. I always lower my price for older customers. It's not a percentage discount, I just take a little off on each thing I do for them. I think of it as if someone was charging my grandmother.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We meet, I listen and take notes on what they are wanting me to do. I come up with a price, if they agree, I'll tell them what day that we can start and what the timeline is for completion. I do not take draws though out a job. I finish and make sure the customer is happy and then get paid.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a construction engineer in the military. That got me interested in repairing homes and building things.
