Introduction: When I started learning music, as soon and I learned the basics I looked for songs that I like and listen to that were simple enough for me to play, getting to play music I liked was a great motivational factor. So when I take a student I like to find out what they listen to and what they want to play and try to incorporate that into their lessons as much as possible. Getting to see people learn and enjoy making music.
