FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge a fair price. Im usually not the cheapest but I guarantee the work and make sure the customer is satisfied. Contracts will be used to protect the home owner and contractor. I do expect partial payment before starting a new job. The initial payment covers materials, rentals, and a partial labor payment. If permits are required it will not be included in the estimated quote.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I make sure the customer is someone I can work with. Some new customers have a high expectation but only want to pay the absolute minimum. I guarantee quality workmanship and expect to make a fair price. I need customers that have a basic idea of what they want and are willing to give feedback. I understand that things can change but those things need to be conveyed before the work starts. Any change after the start needs to be conveyed as soon a possible. Change orders will be used after the initial contract/quoted price has been made.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Most of my education in the trades come from on the job training. I am always learning and new technology/materials are always being developed. If you think you know it all then your a fool.
