Introduction: This is actually very easy for writers, because every writer is different. We bring our unique personalities into life through the words that we write, and in doing so, put a little of ourselves out there into the world. The hard part is actually finding the courage to do so because you know there is risk rejection and criticism, which any writer may take as a rejection of who they are. What makes me stand out is that I move beyond that fear, and I am not afraid to put my self out there in the big world. When you write without fear, you can free yourself from the bindings of self consciousness, and let your words flow freely from your mind to paper. I once read somewhere that when you do what you love, it ceases to be a job, and becomes a way of life. That is most certainly true for a writer. We are only happy when we have the chance to put our stories and ideas to paper, or computer, and see our work grow with every word. Being writer allows me to take the life time love of Sci-Fi and Fantasy, and create my own worlds and characters. It allows me to work through my own feelings, both the positive and the often overwhelming negative, and find the answers I need staring back at me. What I love most, though, is the chance to inspire others. I found a new joy in my fitness blog when people began to use my weight loss success story as a reason to change their own lives, be it through fitness, or other positive changes that they so needed. Nothing makes my day more complete than when someone tells me "you are an inspiration." While I didn't set out to change lives, I realized that it was exactly what a writer does. Each time I find a new book or series that I love, I realize that the author has made yet another impact on my life. While I may not have started out wanting to make such an impact, I know now that this is what I love to do.
