Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I think what separates me form other photographers is my ability to use my eye to capture all of the little things that tell the story of your wedding day. I don't just try to capture the beautiful "formal" pictures, but tell the whole story so years from now you can look back at your pictures and have them take you right back to that moment in time. Also, I don't like doing "cookie cutter" pictures or repeating myself with poses. I try to push myself to always remain creative so no two weddings or lifestyle sessions look alike. I like to give each of my clients a personalized experience. I LOVE what I do! I don't consider it a job, the day I do I will stop taking pictures. I love capturing moments in peoples lives that will never happen again. I am both honored and humbled that people trust me with capturing these special moments.

Jeff is a pleasure to have at your wedding. He makes you feel at ease and is a wonderful photographer. Working at one of the best photography studios in San Diego before I was not the easiest bride to work for. I was very picky and new exactly what I wanted. Not only did he meet all of my requests, he also went well beyond and gave me my most treasured memories if my wedding! What people need to remember is that once the cake is eatin, the flowers are dead, the dress is dry cleaned and boxed up. What you have left is the photographs. So you want to be picky, you want to have someone that will work with you to make sure you have everlasting memories.. You want Jeff Milo!! I am glad that he was there to share and capture our special day!

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I didn't, it just kind of happened. Truth be told, I never wanted to be a wedding photographer. Eight or so years ago one of my best friends was getting married, and his fiancé, who loved my general photography, asked me to shoot their wedding. I of course refused, at that time wedding photography to me was all posed boring formal pictures which I hated taking. She was persistent and eventually I caved in. Understanding what a huge responsibility this was I went to a wedding photography boot camp to figure out how to do it right. They held a mock wedding during this 3 day camp, and after seeing my images from this event the photographer running the camp said to me "you have never shot a wedding before? No way, I would have thought you had been doing this for years. These pictures are amazing!!" That gave me the confidence I needed. I shot their wedding, in Disneyland (yup no additional pressure there- lol). I booked 3 other wedding from people seeing those pictures and then it just took on a life of its own. Here I am eight years later and still loving it!

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Meet with the person you hire, do your research. Make sure you are comfortable around them. Your wedding day is going to be a long day and you are going to spend a lot of time together. To capture your true selves you need to be comfortable with your photographer.
